The Apricus 250L Solar Ready Glass-Lined Electric Tank Water Heater is a glass-lined electric, bottom element tank designed to provide year-round reliable hot water. The solar-ready tank can be used as a standalone electric water heater, ready for the addition of solar when the decision to upgrade is made. Add an Apricus Solar Retrofit Kit – including the solar hot water evacuated tube collector system and pump station kit – to your solar ready tank within 60 days and you will be eligible for rebates.

QLD and SA customers will require a certificate of compliance – we can provide this for $60.

- Gas and water pipe sizing nearly always needs to be upgraded and often this isn’t easy or feasible.
- On every occassion, you will require a new power circuit to be run for the instant unit as it is ignited by electric starters, whereas a standard gas storage unit doesn’t require power.
